The time of year many look forward to: the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the world’s most prestigious endurance races, held annually since 1923 at the Circuit de la Sarthe in the city of Le Mans. Unlike traditional races focused solely on speed, the aim is to cover the greatest possible distance over 24 consecutive hours, putting to the test not only the cars’ performance but also their mechanical reliability, team strategy, tyre and fuel management, and the drivers’ physical and mental endurance. Organised by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the race has become a historic stage for legendary brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Ford and Toyota to showcase innovation, engineering and prestige in the automotive world.
This year we had the privilege of seeing our Ferrari on one of the world’s most iconic circuits, competing in the Ferrari Challenge on the morning leading up to the 24-hour race – a moment that will always be cherished, regardless of the results.
In addition to this and many other appearances at this major event, one of the rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup Brazil was also held – one of Porsche’s leading series in South America and a benchmark for GT motor racing in Brazil.
It was a week of many iconic moments at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, an event that rarely fails to disappoint us year after year.
