New project to be executed
Another extraordinary specimen has arrived, which will carry out a complete restoration.
The Lotus Seven is one of the most charismatic cars designed by the magician Colin Chapman launched in 1957.
This small, simple and lightweight vehicle was produced by Lotus in England until 1972. Its original model was a great success and had 2,500 units sold, due to the fact that it was a day-to-day vehicle that could be used for racing.
Currently, its production rights have been purchased by Caterham.
In the case of this example, it has the particularity of having been built for an automotive presentation event, which resulted in the production of 10 units. Nine with right hand drive and one with left hand drive. As a result, the retail price has doubled compared to other versions.
Soon we will publish the advances on the restoration of this unit, as well as more elements about its history.
